Paperwork and documentation is reportedly the least sought after part of any job. It can be a primary school assignment, minutes of meeting at workplace or even a police report in a homicide case. The prospect of sitting down, revisiting and recording all the obligatory data is often dubbed as boring and lethargic. No one wants to be scribbling the facts and figures behind the scenes while others relish in the line of fire, basking in the glory of all the hustle and bustle of most exciting occurring.
Thankfully our ancestors had better ideas and opinions in this regard and took much pride and pomposity in depositing their enterprises. As a way of passing down their wisdom, preserving history, successes, failures and philosophy not only for their own life and times but for the generations to come hundreds and thousands of years afterwards. If all the learned man and important historical figures had dismissed the idea of jotting down their knowledge base, humanity’s progress would have descended drastically.
Keeping written logs is certainly one of the most underrated skills in the 21st century. Learning to polish and adhere to this craft is definitely time well spent.
A few crucial considerations and helpful pointers in the correct direction can not only significantly improve the quality of quill assignments but also reduce the strain and time frame for its compilation and completion.

1. Determine the title:

While many writers prefer to choose a suitable caption for their work after it has been finished. Getting a title for the document first however aids in setting up our focus and energy on the specifications of this task with distinction and clarity. The purpose of this method is to fully grasp the required wants and applications of end product. Once the scope is finalized, the rough title can be amended and chiseled afterwards if needed.

2. Decide the dimensions:

It is important to know the preferred outlook of the document before submission. Finalizing on the template, font size, font style, word count and paragraph arrangement in advance conserves time and sharpens the final product. For example A corporate memorandum cannot be written with comic sans font or addressed with regular letter salutations.

3. Subject matter:

Now that it is clear what is to be written and in what manner it is to be presented. Writing the main body of document is more surreal. It is advisable to do prior research in a library, online, official data or academic materials and jotting down pointers or a list of topics to be included. These bullet notes can be arranged in chronological order to be included in the body of the document. The entire charter can be constructed as a detailed extension of bullet points without the risk of frisking any key topics.

4. Dictation and Revision:

Before turning in the project, doing a quick but careful revision eliminates the possibility of errors and even enhances quality and reliability. One bonus method to add value to your paper is to look-up archives and add quoted references to the relative subject matter.
A paper is written with many intentions, keep the focal points of writing and work to achieve your goal in that direction particularly. Happy writing!
